This is the AIRS, AMSU-A, and HSB weekly operations status report for Friday, November 24, 2023 (the end of week 1125 of the Aqua mission).
Note that there were changes to the test schedule that appeared in last week's report.  Specifically:
 - The C9-space-B-gains and C9-space-Optimum-gains tests that had been scheduled for Tuesday, November 14 have been re-scheduled to Monday, November 20.
 - The C9-OBC-B-gains and C9-OBC-Optimum-gains tests that had been scheduled for Wednesday, November 15 have been re-scheduled to Tuesday, November 21.

AIRS:  The AIRS instrument remains healthy with all voltages, currents, and temperatures as expected.
AMSU-A1:  AMSU-A1 is healthy except for channels 4, 5, 6, and 7.
AMSU-A2:  AMSU-A2, which provided channels 1 and 2 of the AMSU-A suite, suffered a non-recoverable loss of power on September 24, 2016 and is no longer operational.
HSB:  HSB has been non-operational since February 2003 due to a scanner anomaly.


Instrument activities since previous report:

Four AIRS special calibration tests ran on Monday and Tuesday, November 20 and 21.  Here is the timeline (UT):

C9 Scan Profile Rotation to Space View Test, B-only gains
   324/09:05:00  AIRS put into READY mode
   324/09:45:00 AIRS back in OPERATE mode

C9 Scan Profile Rotation to Space View Test, Optimum gains
   324/22:16:00  AIRS put into READY mode
   324/22:54:00  AIRS back in OPERATE mode

Tuesday, November 21:
C9 96 OBC View 96 B-only gains
   325/09:46:00  AIRS put into READY mode
   325/10:26:00 AIRS back in OPERATE mode

C9 96 OBC View 96 Optimum gains
   325/22:58:00  AIRS put into READY mode
   325/23:36:00 AIRS back in OPERATE mode

An AIRS guard test ran on Wednesday, November 22.  Here is the timeline (UT):
   326/22:07:00 AIRS Guard Test begins (AIRS in CHECKOUT mode)
   326/22:34:00 AIRS back in OPERATE mode

MODIS Lunar Calibration #225 was executed on Friday, November 24.  Here is the timeline (UT):
   328/16:57:00  AIRS put into READY mode prior to Lunar Cal
   328/17:22:00  AIRS back in OPERATE mode


Upcoming events:

1) An AIRS photometric calibration test is planned for Thursday, December 7.  This activity has not been scheduled yet.
